Opplant wasn't born from a business plan, but from hands dirty with soil. > Among the hills of Asolo, we experienced a common frustration: the brushcutter that damaged the bark of our trees. No one offered a solution that truly worked, so we invented it ourselves.

From the first prototypes tested in our garden, we quickly moved on to requests from neighbors and nursery owners. We immediately realized we weren't alone.

Today, every Opplant product is proudly designed and manufactured in Italy, using only materials that do not contaminate the soil. Because protecting your plants makes no sense if you don't respect the earth that nourishes them.

Opplant was founded in Asolo, nestled among the Venetian hills, by people who experience gardening firsthand. We didn't start with a business plan. We started with a problem: every time the brushcutter passed near our trees, the bark would get damaged. And no one was selling a solution that truly worked.

We began designing protectors in our workshop, testing them on our land. The first versions were rudimentary. But they worked. Our neighbors wanted them. Local nurseries were asking for them. At that point, we realized the problem wasn't just ours.

Today, every Opplant product is designed, prototyped, and manufactured in Italy, using materials that don't contaminate the soil. Because protecting plants makes no sense if you pollute the earth in which they grow.

A single cut to the bark interrupts the flow of sap. The tree doesn't die immediately: it slowly weakens, becomes vulnerable to pests, and loses leaves and branches. Within two or three seasons, it's doomed.

This happens in private gardens, public parks, and olive groves. It happens because those using brushcutters are not at fault: the tool is designed to cut, and the bark has no defenses. The problem is structural, and the solution must be as well.
